With a wealth of experience, the Below Canvas team have been involved in the Scottish events industry for over 10 years, having created over 400 events!
What we do
With extensive backgrounds in the industry, our top dogs are well-versed in planning and delivering successful events. Starting with our sister company, award-winning Make Believe Events, back in 2009 – the team have since been involved in more than 4000 events. With a focus on linen hire, props and lighting, the obvious choice when looking for a new venture to complement this was some kind of venue or event space. After a bit of research into marquees and some brick & mortar options, we fell in love with the tipis at an open day we attended near London. The realisation that we could share these magnificent structures with our customers in the West of Scotland and further afield was just too much to pass up and we started out with 3 tipis in 2015. From there we have continued to add to our range of both tipis and accompanying accessories!
We love our tipis that little bit more every time we walk inside, so we are huge advocates for more and more events being held within them. But we also recognise that selecting a company to supply such an integral part of your wedding, festival or party comes down to more than just the product – our clients value the high level of customer service, flexibility and wealth of knowledge we bring to the table too.
